SB Finance offers loans to doctors

SB Finance is broadening its health-care financing efforts by introducing special proposals for physicians, reinforcing its reputation as a reliable financial ally within the medical field. The step follows the launch of its Patient Access Program last year, which allows patients of affiliated hospitals to obtain loans for admissions and treatments.
Through the Doctor’s Loan scheme, hospitals, doctors and patients benefit from a unified lending framework. Eligible clinicians can obtain flexible personal loans reaching PhP 3 million, with repayment periods extending to 36 months and preferential interest rates, pending credit assessment and sanction.
Exclusive Offers for Doctors
Patrick Felizardo, who leads Business Development at SB Finance, explained that a complete range of tailored options is available for physicians and other health-care workers to leverage for practice-related or personal needs. He added that the pricing remains attractive and the application procedure has been simplified.
Applicants benefit from a simplified enrollment that asks for minimal paperwork: a government-issued identification, a completed request form, and relevant financial records, all subject to a credit review. Moreover, Gold Circle and Wealth clients of Security Bank receive enhanced Doctor’s Loan pricing, with rates as low as 0.8% per month.
Empowering Doctors and Patients
Ron Romo, head of Personal Loan and OR/CR for Cash Sales and Distribution at SB Finance, noted that health-care ranks among the nation’s key industries and that credit services are vital for both providers and patients. He said the firm aims to design products that strengthen physicians while facilitating patient access to necessary treatment.
In addition to loan options, eligible doctors can tap into a collection of exclusive perks offered jointly by SB Finance and Security Bank. Qualified participants may receive Security Bank’s Gold Circle and Wealth Welcome Offers, granting cash incentives up to PhP 90,000 for establishing and sustaining approved deposit accounts.
The Doctor’s Loan scheme works in tandem with SB Finance’s Patient Access Program, now present in 66 partner hospitals across the country. Under that initiative, patients can secure loans ranging from PhP 30,000 to PhP 3 million to cover admissions, procedures or related costs, with repayment schedules spanning 12 to 36 months.
Linking physicians, medical facilities and patients within one financing network, SB Finance seeks to enhance patient reach for hospitals and generate fresh prospects for clinicians and allied partners. Classified as a non-bank financial entity, it operates under the oversight of the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, pledging to improve livelihoods and position itself as the Philippines’ leading financial service provider.
